About Our Name

Kauai, in our name, indicates that the Endowment only supports the island of Kauai.

Aloha indicates that importance will be given to how supported programs are advancing our island-wide vision, Aloha: It's Kauai's Spirit.

Endowment indicates that contributions are not spent but invested in perpetuity, thus benefitting the community today, tomorrow and forever by providing a permanent, growing source of income to protect, preserve and enhance our island treasures, and to support our people, projects, programs and processes on Kauai.
